June Loot

CIMG2288So my order from Otaku Fuel arrived and here it is.
-Nendoroid Mikkumiku Kagami—————-(Good Smile Company)
-Figma Kagami Hiiragi Cosplay Ver.——————-(Max Factory)
-Figma Hatsune Miku——————————–(Max Factory)
-Yuki Nagato Gekisou Ver.—————————(Max Factory)
– Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou Ver.———————-(Max Factory)

Plus because I spent over $20 dollars I got extra goodies. I got the Yuki Nagato Character CD (sweet! 4 down 5 to go!) and a box of Pocky. More pics insideCIMG2292

I wasn’t really planning on getting the Kagamiku nendo, but I broke down since it was instock on OF. I don’t really plan on opening either Kagamiku’s (Yes, I like Kagamiku better the the other names) any time soon. I’m hoping to open the Miku as soon as I get this post up though^^

Now I only have one more Gekisou Haruhi to go, Mikuru. I already have her on pre-order over at Hobbyfan, she won’t be shipped until some other figures arrive. Also, now I only have five more character CD’s to go, Mikuru, Ryoko, Tsuruya, Emiri, and Itsuki.

CIMG2301Ok, so I really thought that I had a picture of my Gekisou Haruhi that arrived a few days back, but since I couldn’t find it on my camera or computer here is some eye candy.

Very nice haul; I’m so jealous! The Gekisou HARUHI figures are some of the best HARUHI scuplts I’ve seen–I’m especially happy that they actually sculpted the strings on the guitars(the lack of guitar strings for the Figma, Fraulein Revoltech and Atelier-Sai figures annoyed me very much.) I’d like to get the whole line but they’re fairly expensive–and with HARUHI figures I’m mainly focused on collecting the Figmas and Fraulein Revoltechs.

They’re so much better then the older Max Factory ones. I still plan on getting the MF Ryoko. As for Alelier-Sai I try to stay away from them and Wave.

Sweet! Loot their, I want that Kagamiku ^^ oh yah main question? I just heard of Otaku fuel and was wondering is it a good place to buy from? I live in the US and they seem to be highly stocked with the newest figures so are they safe to buy from?

    Is their shipping fast?
Are pre-orders easy going or a big hassle?
    Hows customer service?

Sorry for the many questions it’s that I don’t know anybody that buys from their:p

Otaku Fuel is probably the best American retailer you will ever shop at. They are just great! They have all the latest figures and the lowest prices. And the shipping is just beyond words. Order’s over $99 are shipped free and they don’t cheap out on packaging. The order you see above had 4 boxes total. The figmas were in one, the nendo in another, Yuki in another one, and then all three of those were packed in one big box. It was like Christmas 🙂 Their shipping is quite speedy too. It only took about 3 or 4 days.

The one drawback I can think of is their pre-ordering. If you place instock items and pre-order items in the same order you have to pay upfront for your pre-order items, so you don’t get the time to save up for them. It does give you top priority though once the items are intsock.

If you make an order with ONLY pre-order items then you have the option to pay up front or to make a %20 deposit, which is pretty reasonable.

As for the costermer service… It’s pretty good. When I first started using them they answered all my emails but lately they haven’t sent any replies I was asking them if they could get figures I KNOW they could order, but I have a feeling they wanted me to special order them^.^

No problem with the questions. I’m always happy to help. I try to reply to all comments I get, especially questions; ) I hope I helped.
